Why I'm building this

In summer 2014, my FEV1 hit 41%. I was 30 years old, three months from being listed for transplant.I rebuilt to 58% in 90 days. I'm at 75% today, married 10 years this month, dad to three boys.I'm building The 41 Project because in 2014 — when I needed someone to tell me what was possible — I didn't have anyone. The 41 Project is the room I needed at 41%, designed for the people who get it.

Who The 41 Project is for

What's inside The 41 Project

A moderated, paid community across four sub-spaces:

  • Adults with CF

  • Parents of CF kids ages 0-12

  • Parents of CF teens and young adults 13-25

  • Caregivers, spouses, and partners

Plus shared spaces for wins, milestones, hard days, and questions.

Member resources include:

  • Weekly peer roundtables (separate calls for each sub-space)

  • Growing playbook library (insurance appeals, school accommodations, mental health, more)

  • Quarterly cohort programs available as add-on

The 41 Lab members get everything above, plus:

  • Monthly small-group sessions (8 people max)

  • Full fitness library starting November 2026

  • CF-specific programming designed by founder (ACSM-CPT)

  • Priority filming requests for new content

Common questions

When do doors open?

August 17, 2026 — Sunday at 7 PM ET. Waitlist members get first access.

Why is it paid?

Paid means I can sustainably moderate and curate the community for years. Paid filters for serious members. Paid funds quality content and clinician AMAs. Free CF resources exist and serve their purpose; this is something different. Scholarship seats ensure financial accessibility.

How does this differ from Facebook CF groups?

Free groups are unmoderated and unfiltered. The 41 Project is moderated, structured, and built around member experience. You'll find curated resources, real peer relationships, and a quieter community without the noise of unmoderated spaces.

What about the CF Foundation?

The CF Foundation does important work in research, policy, and care center programming. They're a wonderful organization. The 41 Project is something different — daily peer community for CF families, not advocacy or research funding. Many members benefit from both.

Can my whole family join?

Membership is per person. We have separate sub-spaces for adults with CF, parents, and caregivers. Each family member gets their own space designed for them.

What if I can't afford it?

We offer 4 free scholarship seats per month, no questions asked. Just reach out when doors open and we'll get you in.

Is this medical advice?

No. The 41 Project is peer support and educational resources. Always consult your CF care team for medical decisions. We have clear medical disclaimers throughout the community.
